Westerberg High is ruled by a shoulder-padded, scrunch-wearing threesome: Heather, Heather and Heather, the hottest and cruelest girls at school. But misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime for a new boyfriend, the dark, sexy stranger J.D., who plans to put the Heathers in their place - six feet under.

For everyone who has ever longed to be in the 'popular' group, or dreamed of taking revenge on the cool kids, or even just for those who long for a better time, filled with shoulder pads, big hair and fluorescent colours. Heathers is sure to be the most hilariously homicidal show at Hayes Theatre Co in 2015.

Written by Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde and Bat Boy: The Musical) and Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness and Desperate Housewives) and based on the cult teen comedy film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, Heathers is the latest Off-Broadway hit musical to come to Australia.

Directed by the one and only Trevor Ashley (Les Misérables, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Fat Swan, Little Orphan Trashley), writer, director, performer, and sensational cabaret star, this production promises to be the most subversively funny show you'll see all year.

Starring Jaz Flowers (Hairspray, Hot Shoe Shuffle) in her Hayes Theatre Co debut, and Lucy Maunder (Songs In The Key of Black, Grease, Doctor Zhivago) with Musical Direction from one of Australia's leading musical directors, Bev Kennedy.
